Before the procedure I had online and face to face consultations with no obligations. These gave me all the information I needed and really put me at ease and gave me the confidence to proceed. Everyone was really knowledgeable and friendly and clearly very experienced. Booking the procedure was quick and easy and I got a date that suited me.
The procedure itself went really smoothly I was able to put headphones in and listen to podcasts and was very comfortable. Afterwards I was given really detailed notes on what to do and what would happen and everything went exactly as planned. It was so reassuring knowing that advice was only a text message away and responses were always immediate. I'm two weeks post procedure now and everything has gone back to normal and the recovery is going just as planned. I'm so glad I did this and chose Harley Street Hair Transplant!

Great clinic with friendly and experienced team. I wanted my surgery done in the UK and found the clinic on Google. Process started with virtual consultations with patient advisor and then with the surgeon. FULL costs were given up front, with good finance options available. On the day I designed a new hairline with the surgeon and ended up getting about 1600 grafts iirc, which was good value for money. Clear pre- and post-op instructions given and recovery has gone as expected. Now waiting patiently for regrowth :)

If anyone is thinking big having this procedure done I would highly recommend it to be done here. I’m so excited to see the new hair growth starting and it’s only 3 mths since the procedure. The surgeon was absolutely first class and the after care is amazing. Regular check ups and in between checks you can pick the phone up and speak to them even if it’s just for reassurance.

I visited the clinic near Manchester a little over a month ago and have been very happy with the service to date. It's too early to see the results yet but I am pretty optimistic as it all went to plan. The engagement before, during and after was faultless. Quick responses to any queries and good after care/follow up. The day itself, as expected, is quite long and be prepared for possible swelling after. The first few days after it were a little rough, but that was explained to me before hand. That said, i was up and out and about by day 3 and worked from home OK throughout all of it. The surgery itself went well and I was very impressed with Dr Tetiana and her team, they helped a long day go as best as can be expected, worked hard and were good company throughout. Sara has also followed up regularly since. Very happy to recommend and good luck!

Very happy with the process so far. With a busy schedule I wasn’t too sure about taking 2 weeks of work but we managed to get the procedure booked within a month or so of my initial consultation so I was able to plan around it all easily.
The team were very helpful in assessing my aims and suitability for the procedure and answered all my questions and concerns. They also offered the use of a facility in Manchester which I preferred so I wouldn’t have to use public transport post procedure.
The procedure itself was a little uncomfortable at the start but I understand this is completely normal until the numbing kicks in. Both Dr Ditta and the two technicians were very experienced and comforting during the procedure. They handled my complications easily and I knew I was in safe hands.
I had initially been looking at 1900 grafts but when we sat down to design my hairline more grafts were needed and I had a healthy donor area so we upped it to 2500 grafts at no additional cost.
Currently on day 12 post procedure but the scabs came off on day 10 ahead of schedule, my aftercare routine was explained clearly and I was given everything I needed.
My advice to anyone considering a transplant is that the procedure itself and the day after are a little rough but worth it. It’s definitely a big factor knowing your surgeon is experienced and you’re in good hands. I’ve recommended the team to friends of mine who are considering the procedure and would encourage people to use the team at the Harley Street Hair Transplant Clinics.

If you’re noticing thinning hair or bald patches, you’re certainly not alone. Male pattern baldness is extremely common, affecting around 30% of men by age 30 and more than half of all men by age 50. The main culprit is a hormone called Dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which gradually causes the hair follicles to shrink and stop producing healthy strands of hair.
This process usually starts at the temples or crown and can progress over time, following the familiar Norwood scale patterns of hair loss. Interestingly, the sides and back of the scalp — known as the donor area — are largely unaffected by DHT. These regions provide the strong, permanent follicles used during a hair transplant, allowing surgeons to restore density to areas impacted by baldness.
For some men, the first signs of hair thinning can appear in their twenties — or even earlier. While there are countless hair loss treatments available, from topical solutions to cosmetic hair systems, few can match the long-term effectiveness and natural results of a hair transplant. Our Process
Our team of hair transplant specialists have been involved in the hair restoration industry since 2013 and through this time we have refined our process to treat each client of ours according to their individual hair loss treatment needs. We aim to get to know, understand and set expectations for what can and can’t be done based on the amount of follicles available from the donor area.
1) Initial Enquiry
All patients can enquire via email, telephone, social media and website form. Here we verify if you qualify for treatment before proceeding further – it’s a free service we provide for our clients who want great results without any hassle or stress.
2) Consultation
For clients that qualify, the next step is a consultation (due to COVID we also offer video consultations) with one of our patient advisors/consultants. Before COVID we used to do a lot of face to face consultations, however the vast majority of our consultations are currently virtual (over zoom/skype/facebook messenger). Here we will assess your head from donor area to the areas of hair loss that need treatment.
3) Treatment Options
Post consultation hair loss treatment options will be discussed with you as well as pricing and any finance options available. We know that it’s a big decision to make and so we will provide all of this documentation via email and then you are in the driving seat of when you with to proceed for a hair transplant.
4) Decision and Preparation
Once you have decided to go ahead with the treatment outlined in your consultation, our team will help you prepare for your treatment.
5) Day of Your Treatment
You will be greeted by our team at our clinic on the day of your treatment. You will also meet with and speak with one of our doctors and our tech team prior to your hair loss surgery. Depending on the amount of grafts that you require, your surgery can last from 4-8+ hours. All our procedures are carried out by one of our surgeons along with our technicians that assist them.
6) Aftercare and follow ups
All the aftercare instructions will be given to you post procedure by by one of our doctors and we will follow up with an email with instructions. They will also go through what you should expect within the first few of weeks post treatment at which time you can also contact our team if you have any further questions. One of our patient advisors/consultants will also be following up with you in order to check how your hair is growing back and how you are progressing in general.
